With autumn bringing cool breezes and a season of harvest, LTMG Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (LTMG Group) recently held an employee excavator skills competition at its Shandong excavator manufacturing base. Following rigorous assessments across multiple departments, 17 experienced workers earned their places in the event, ready to demonstrate their expertise and compete for top honors.

The competition consisted of two stages, beginning with an engaging “excavator precision basketball shooting” challenge. Designed as a warm-up, the preliminary round tested participants’ ability to maneuver excavators with precision in a lively and relaxed setting. Applause and cheers filled the venue as contestants performed delicate shooting movements with the large machines, showcasing their impressive control and familiarity with the equipment.

After a closely contested preliminary round, six outstanding participants advanced to the finals. The atmosphere then shifted as the competition moved to a demanding series of tasks designed to simulate actual working conditions. Within a set time limit, finalists tackled challenges including precise valve-and-pipe matching, standardized hydraulic line assembly, and efficient assembly of the overall structure.

The final round put the contestants’ technical skills and practical abilities to a comprehensive test. Judges assessed both the quality and speed of the completed assemblies, while also evaluating adherence to standardized procedures and attention to operational details. This approach ensured a well-rounded assessment of each participant’s capabilities.

Throughout the competition, both contestants and judges maintained a rigorous and focused attitude, treating every simulated link on the field as a real-world working condition and practicing excellence in every detail.
